- Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team based in Nottingham
Ideally Circa 10 years experience of design HVAC systems essential
Minimum of Intermediate user of IES Dynamic Modelling Software
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to manage workloads, running a project from conception to completion.
Low Carbon Consultant (or working towards) UK resident Low Carbon Energy Assessor (to level 5) using IES-VE is advantageous.
Chartered Engineer (preferable but not essential) Experience of working for Contracting and Consultant environments
Types of schemes: Residential, Commercial (Hotels, offices etc), Food Factories, Leisure Centres, Utilities/Infrastructure, Healthcare, Renewable Energy Designs, Education
Skill sets: DCWS, HWS, Cooling & Heating, Steam, AGD, Ventilation, Renewable Energy Reports Proficient in Autocad Revit (some knowledge/use essential)
Some experience of preparing estimates for work, budgets and detailed estimates
Personal traits - Punctual, Good communicator, Client facing, team player, confident
