As a successful Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other Engineers as part of a dedicated and skilled Building Services team in Manchester. Due to the ongoing success of gaining a range of interesting projects, this highly esteemed Building Services Consultancy are recruiting an Intermediate Mechanical Design Consultant to join the Building Services team in their Manchester office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intermediate mechanical design engineer with the desire to reach senior level in the future, and reap the reward of a range of interesting projects and the support of high end seniors in the Building Services team.

Responsibilities:
Undertake detailed mechanical engineering building services design
for a range of building services projects
Prepare technical schedules.
Work closely with and monitor the performance of Technicians and Graduate Engineers (as appropriate)
Under the guidance of senior staff, represent the client at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers
Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
Ensure that appropriate service / mechanical design decisions are met.
Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service / mechanical design decisions and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
Coordinating work with other members of the project team
Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s best interests.
Actively work towards a Senior Mechanical Engineer position in the future
Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers.Skills & Attributes
Ideally, the successful candidate will have some experience of working on a variety of challenging mechanical design building services projects.
Qualifications:• Bachelors degree (BEng) / BSc or Masters degree (MEng) / MSc in a relevant subject - e.g. Mechanical Engineer,or HND Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
