Our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team based in Preston

Duties:
To undertake mechanical design works and project management of numerous projects in healthcare, education and other public and commercial sectors. 

The role requires both the design of systems and supervision of others. 

HNC preferably degree qualified Chartered preferred. 

Senior engineer with experience of designing mechanical systems including water, ventilation, drainage, heating and cooling. 

Some client facing ability would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:
To undertake engineering services design and consultancy work on behalf of the company under the direction of the line manager or project leader. To undertake calculations, production of drawings, specifications and reports, site surveys, client liaison, liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and any other relevant duty required to comply with the project brief.
