Our client is a small team of designers dedicated to creating great sustainable buildings that respect the environment and are a joy to use. they are a multi-disciplinary co-operative of building services engineers, energy consultants, and architects delivering integrated design solutions in tandem with specialist advice, feasibility strategies and low carbon consultancy.

They are looking for the right person to join their building services engineering team. As part of a small and close-knit team based in Leeds, you will be expected to take on a project or senior engineer role where you will be running projects and meeting clients, doing your own surveys, reports, designs, drawings and supervising others to carry out design and drawing work.

You will use the latest technology and be a key part of thier future developments including BIM implementation, Passivhaus design, Post Occupancy Evaluations, and LEAN design to name a few.

You should have a keen interest in energy, buildings, and creating the right working and living environments. You will need to be resourceful, conscientious, innovative, and able to work independently. You will also need to communicate confidently with all levels of professionals and trades people, so highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills are important.

Electrical design experience with Amtech or similar is essential and other experience advantageous. Familiarity with CAD software, and Revit in particular will also be an advantage.

They expect you to have relevant experience or an engineering or science degree and about 5 to 10 years working experience.

The team consists of experienced chartered engineers and architects who will provide training and monitoring, enabling you to learn and progress.  They will also provide external CPD and training courses to ensure you meet criteria for chartered engineer status if not already obtained.

Salary offered will be based on your experience relative to existing employees.
