- Our client is looking for a Building Services Design Engineer to meet the ever increasing demands being made upon this busy office based in Kent.
They will be required to provide a full in-house Building Services design Engineering consultancy service as part of small M & E team working to the M & E director.
Duties to include:
• Undertake design calculations
• Production of written specifications
• Schedules and AutoCAD Drawings
• Carry out surveys and inspections and write reports
The successful candidate will be:
• A fully qualified and experienced Building Services Design Engineer, a minimum of 2 years post qualification, but preferably 5 years UK working experience.
• Fully computer literate, MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Hevacomp and/or similar software. Proficient with IES is a must
• Car owner / driver
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines and within a fee structure.
• Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative
• Be preferably CEng ACIBSE, MCIBSE or MIET qualified (or equivalent)
• Have a professional approach and demeanour
• Have a strong ethical approach to safety, quality and environmental protection
• Have a demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels
