Our Client is looking for a Senior C & I Engineer to join their team based in the North West

Contractor rates £35-50p/h approxThe Senior Design Engineer is accountable for the development and delivery of all project tasks/drawings within his/her remit.
The SDE will also work as part of the project team ensuring that all allocated tasks within the project are completed on time and to the standards required.Duties and Responsibilities
• To ensure all design schemes are monitored, controlled and implemented to Customer requirements, Company quality systems and legislative specifications.
• To assist the QA and HSE documentation compilation throughout the project life cycle.
• Undertake or assist in site surveys, such as existing ventilation and HVAC systems to evaluate full customer requirement and compliance to specifications.
• To take part in all relevant site meetings and Client liaison meetings being fully prepared and able to ensure the professional image of the Company is maintained.
• Ensure all drawings, designs and documents are checked both for specification fit and for grammatical correctness to maintain and improve the professional image and reputation of the Company.
• Use established reporting systems, targets and milestones to make certain projects are completed to company and customer requirements.
• Establish good and effective working relationships with all internal and external customers to enable commercially successful project implementation and to assist in the future business development of the Company.
• Assist in the management of all customer/consultant interfaces throughout the life of the project to enable effective project implementation within or above customer expectations.
• To track all designs to ensure there are no surprises and that remedial action is taken to maintain the effective implementation wherever possible.
• To liaise with Project Leaders, other Senior Design Engineers and Design Engineers to ensure ‘best practice’ methods are utilised wherever possible to add value and assist in future business development. Including liaison and feedback between the operational teams and the estimating departments.
• Production of all H&S documents such as risk assessments to the standards required complying with all HSE/CDM legislation.
• The project diary is maintained on a day to day basis capturing all relevant technical information per project.
