- Our client is looking for a Region Digital Practice Leader this is a senior role within the company, providing digital leadership across the Energy and Resources, Built Environment and Infrastructure (Transport and Water) Markets and Advisory business units in the region. With broad digital engineering knowledge and networks, they collaborate with the internal digital team, the delivery units and external clients to identify touch points and to guide the development of capability and expertise in relation to a Future Ready Company.
The role is intended to support the development of an appropriate and cost effective digital capability within the Southern Region, under the guidance of the global digital leadership. The Digital Practice Leader will (indirectly) lead multiple teams across the region, defining and being accountable for implementing digital strategy. They will also take on functional support roles within projects, to practically apply digital concepts as a thought leader and to develop and embed digital capability into the project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of Global Digital Strategy though the development and implementation of a regional Digital Plan that positions the client as the digital leader in the region.
- Accountable for the overall efficient and effective implementation of digital strategy at a regional level.
Horizon 1
- Embed the three immediate priorities of digital strategy into the regional delivery teams (Standardisation and Optimisation, Ideas Acceleration and Market Positioning)
- Continue to drive and support the adoption of existing digital capabilities in the region, including BIM, visualisation and automation
- Develop a strong relationship with the digital leaders of Key and Local Relationship clients and internal stakeholders
- Understand the digital strategies of Key and Local Relationship clients and how Aurecon does or could provide value to these strategies
- Implement appropriate and effective skill development and training for staff across the region
Horizon 2 & 3
- Identify opportunities to deploy the strategic initiatives of digital strategy (Digital Collaboration, Digital Service Design and Digital Insights) into the regional market
- Develop new and relevant digital capabilities in the region that further enhances client offerings
- Monitor and understand key digital trends as relevant to the regional market (eg. Artificial Intelligence, IOT, Data analytics)
Undertake Performance and Development Process and demonstrate undertakings to achieve Performance and Development goals to be determined with Line Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Digital Sciences) or equivalently approved qualification
- Prefer 15 years' experience in providing digital design services
